What this webpage aims to do is to outline the way that most people should go about learning, in its barebones form. 

Steps

1. Learn kana (hiragana and katakana)

2. Start learning:

   1. Vocab with Anki

   2. Grammar with a guide or textbook

3. Learn to read Kanji... or don't, and just include kanji in your vocab learning

4. Start consuming Japanese content (News, reading, manga, TV shows, films, anime, youtube, podcasts, immersion)

5. Start producing Japanese content (Language exchange, journaling (handwritten or digitally), pen pals, study buddy)
